Editorial Standards
How we review, publish, and stand behind what appears in our newsroom.
Review before publication
Every press release, news release, and article submitted to New London Media is held for editorial review and is published only after an editor approves it. We may decline, edit for clarity, or remove any submission at our discretion.
Accuracy and accountability
We aim for accuracy in everything we publish. Submitters confirm that their information is accurate to the best of their knowledge and that they have the right to publish it. New London Media is the publishing venue; the submitting person or organization is responsible for the substance of their content, and we identify the source on every release.
Independence
Our editorial judgment is independent. Publication is not for sale: paid plans grant access to submit, never favorable coverage or guaranteed placement.
Sourcing and transparency
News and articles should identify their sources and, where relevant, link to them. Press and news releases are clearly attributed to the issuing organization and are distinct from our original reporting.
Corrections
If we publish something that is inaccurate, we will correct it. To request a correction or removal, email contact@newlondonmedia.org with the URL and the details.
Acceptable content
We do not publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, hateful, or that impersonates a person or organization. Accounts used to post such content may be suspended.
