Buying by the Lot: How Liquidation Depot Turns Overstock Into Deals in the Pacific Northwest
A look at the by-the-lot model behind Liquidation Depot, now open for local pickup in Portland and Vancouver.

Retailers always end up with too much of something - last season's stock, a cancelled order, an overstock no one planned for. Liquidation Depot is built to move it, and to turn it into deals for the people buying.
The mechanism is the lot. Instead of selling one item at a time, Liquidation Depot sells brand-name goods in bundles at a fraction of retail. A buyer can take a ready-made lot off the shelf, or use Build-a-Lot to assemble their own by category and quantity, with the price calculating itself as the lot grows. Prefer to name your price? There is Make Offer. Like a deadline? There are live auctions.
What keeps it cheap is the lack of big-box overhead. Orders happen online, and buyers pick up from a local distributor - now including Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington - or have their lot shipped. For bigger operators, a Distributor program and a Concierge service handle volume, and incoming lots can be reserved before they arrive.
The tagline, "Where Everybody Wins," is doing real work: sellers clear overstock, buyers get brand names at liquidation prices, and the local-pickup model keeps the whole thing fast and lean. With the Pacific Northwest locations now open, more of that inventory is a short drive away.
