New London Media Launches Campus: A Global Newsroom for High School and College Writers
Student journalists get their own section, their own school pages, and a real byline on an independent global newsroom - free.
LONDON (October 19, 2026) — LONDON - New London Media today launched Campus, a section of its own built for high school and college writers. Student journalists, school papers, and journalism classes can now publish on an independent global newsroom, under their own byline, for free.
Some of the brightest writing anywhere comes out of classrooms and campus newsrooms, and most of it never travels past the school walls. Campus changes that. Every approved story gets its own permanent, search-friendly page on New London Media, filed under the writer's school, and it keeps working long after the semester ends.
Each school gets its own page that collects its students' work in one place, and readers can browse Campus by school or by level - High School or College. Every writer can set up an author page that shows them as a Campus writer at their school and gathers everything they publish. For a student building a portfolio for college applications, internships, or a first job, that is a real byline on a real publication.
Publishing takes a few minutes. Choose Campus on the submit form, add the school's name and level, and submit. Teachers and advisers can be named on a story, so a school paper or a journalism class can publish as a group. Writers confirm they are 13 or older, and every submission is read by an editor before it goes live.
The best student work does not stay in Campus. New London Media's editors can promote a standout story into the main newsroom, feature it at the top of the page, and invite its writer to join as a Staff Writer.
Campus is open now at newlondonmedia.org/hub.ashx?h=campus. Students can publish their first story at newlondonmedia.org/submit.html?hub=campus.
